Inspired by all the great helicopter builds I've seen around here, I tried to build a helicopter that is a) as small as possible, while b) being highly maneuverable. The result can be seen in the screenshot and video. It has very stable flight characteristics because it kind of sets itself upright and can be steered precisely (however, I think it could still be improved). The only problem is that it starts to wobble from time to time really badly, since the new update changed the propeller design. Restarting the simulation fixes it. I haven't been able to solve this yet. Maybe someone else has a good idea. The controls are as follows:Direction - Arrow keys Turn right - K Turn left - J Climb - H Sink - G I use Xpadder and an Xbox360 controller as it really allows more complex and precise control than using the keyboard. It's a lot easier to move the camera with the right stick while flying. I'm also experimenting with the analog buttons operating several flying blocks. I added the Xpadder profile in case someone is interested. Controller key mapping:Direction - Left stick Turn right - RB (B/Right stick bump) Turn left - LB (X/Left stick bump) Climb - RT Sink - LT Start/Stop simulation - Select Camera (Has to be toggled by pressing start button) - Right stick (Y-axis inverted) Besiege.xpadderprofile (789 B) FineSteeringHeli.bsg (9.33 KB)

Nice one. Very Cute.
But it is missing Bombs.

Well done, it's easily the most stable helicopter I've seen. When trying to fly it likes to veer off to the sides, I might be doing something wrong but nothing that can't be compensated for with practice.

Like this? That's seven bombs. As far as the propulsion is concerned you might easily be able to double that.

You're right. That's why I'm not fully satisfied with the result. I think it feels different with a controller as a diagonal movement with the analog stick activates two flying blocks at the same time.
